Self-Care Bath Tips
Self-care is the practice of individuals looking after their own health using the knowledge and information available to them. It's about taking care of your mind, body, and soul by engaging in activities that promote well-being and reduce stress.
Every person deserves to have healthy relationships with others, but they also deserve to have healthy relationships with themselves.
Here are some tips for a self-care bath;
- If you feel like you don't have time to enjoy your self care bath, schedule it.
- Put your phone on Do Not Disturb. Do not allow interruptions to interfere with your self-care time. Lock the door and post a "Do Not Disturb" or "#metime" sign if you must.
- Make sure you have a beverage. Water, tea, juice, smoothie, and if its been a day, wine! Don't forget a bathmat, robe, and/or towel.
- Draw the right temperature of water. You can always add warm water as it cools.
- Add bath salts, soap, bubble bar, or a bath bomb for that extra relaxing fragrance.
- Light some candles and adjust the lighting that's right for you.
- Decide if you want some relaxing music, a meditation track, or just silence.
